Why Kickstarter.
Duo is made by a small team of riders in Christchurch, New Zealand. Kickstarter lets us take the wheelset from a working, road-tested system into the hands of riders everywhere — backers make the first production run possible, and get in ahead of everyone else.
Your bike, with a helping hand.
No permanent hardware
The wheels swap in and out like any other wheelset, and the battery mounts to your bottle cage bosses. Nothing on your frame is modified.
Minimal drag
Switched off, the wheels are designed to roll with minimal drag, so the bike still rides like your bike.
Charger included
Every Duo set ships with its charger, ready to ride from the day it arrives.

Range depends on the ride — climbing, conditions, assistance level and your own effort all change how far a charge will take you.
Duo fits most modern disc-brake road and gravel bikes, with centre-lock rotors, an HG freehub and a battery that mounts to standard bottle cage bosses. Final compatibility should always be confirmed for your specific frame, groupset and brake setup — talk to Duo and we'll check it with you.
